A3 Innovation Robotic Process Automation Engineering
In the business world today, time is everything. The future of a business depends on it. Over the timeframe of a year, a single hour long process every day wastes over 6 full weeks of employee time. That translates to over 260 hours of time spent that could be used for a better purpose. With Robotic Process Automation, processing is completed seamlessly by a digital employee that doesn't get tired, doesn’t mistype, and doesn’t get distracted.
An example for your business
Take a moment and think about some of the things that need accomplished every day. They might include checking your email, running reports, or processing transactions. What if you didn’t have to do them anymore? What if instead of having to download a report and put it into Excel, you could sit down with your coffee in the morning to an already populated sheet? The busy work that takes up so much of your time could become a process that is ran every morning, automatically, so that you can do the things that benefit your customers the most.
Process Requirements and Design
Our developers work with the team that is performing the task that will be automated. They identify what processes will be completed by the robot, how much time will be saved, and other technical and business details to establish a rule based flowchart for decision making.
Unattended Robots vs Attended Robots
Some processes can be completed entirely autonomously, without user assistance. These processes can be accomplished in the background, and are ran by unattended robots on a schedule. Should there be a step in the process where a user has to take an action, the process will be completed by an attended robot that enables and handles user actions.
Our RPA projects are developed through UiPath Automation software. This software will need to be installed on a machine to be used for process automation. Once the software is installed, the robotic processes can be launched and managed remotely. This functionality also allows for our team to support your solution remotely, and for seamless processing on any machine.
Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
Some automation projects are accomplished primarily in Microsoft Office utilizing VBA. It’s a language that was intended to be used for automation by Microsoft and integrates natively to the office suite of products without the need for additional software.
